Viewing this webinar requires some basic information. This data is only used within SCORE and will not be distributed to any third parties.

Earlier this year Connecticut adopted a new Data Privacy Law which applies to all firms and entrepreneurs doing business in CT. Although the statute doesn’t go into effect until July 2023, there are things your business should be doing now to ensure you will be in compliance next year, thereby avoiding hefty fines and penalties.

Attendees will learn:

  • The key provisions of the new law
  • Whether or not you need to comply
  • What happens if you don’t comply
  • What you may need to change on your computers and website
  • What you may need to change in your client/ customer contracts and other legal documents (including your website privacy policy)

Prior to the webinar:

  • Take a close look at the customer, client and vendor data you manage on a daily basis
  • Investigate cyberinsurance, or ask if you will be covered when the new law takes effect
