About the event

If you are on the internet, your personal information is “out there”! Your information can potentially be turned against you, adversely impacting you, your business and the community. However the impact varies by user. This webinar will explain where your information resides, how it is used and most importantly how you can manage and protect it.

Attendees will learn:

  • How social media sites are allowed to monetize your information
  • How to lock down and protect their information
  • Ways to avoid identity theft

Presented by: Bud Freund

Bud Freund has been self-employed for 40 years. After graduating from Ithaca College, his national and international assignments were from corporate, magazine and public relations clients. He has been providing IT solutions to homes and small businesses for over 20 years. He currently teaches Technology Life Skills at King School.

As a Certified SCORE Mentor, he regularly presents technology webinars and workshops throughout Fairfield County.
