January 27: Your Business Elevator Speech
Recorded Webinar (online)
Language: English View webinar Viewing this webinar requires some basic information. This data is only used within SCORE and will not be distributed to any third parties.
About the event

You have a business that needs money. You step on an elevator and find yourself standing next to someone who could invest in your company. You have exactly 30 seconds to get this person interested in you and what you do. Is your “elevator pitch” up to snuff? Here’s your chance to find out.

In this fast-paced, entertaining program, you will learn:

  • What investors look for in an elevator pitch
  • What to leave in, and leave out, of your pitch
  • How to make yourself memorable

More importantly, you will have the chance to “test” your elevator pitch in a live webinar format with one of America’s top (and toughest) business plan judges. Are you ready for the challenge?

Prior to the Webinar

Work on your elevator pitch, and time it so that it takes no more than 30 seconds (the judge will cut you short if you go over). Search on YouTube.com for videos of successful elevator pitches, and while you’re at it watch Cliff Ennico’s YouTube video on “How to Sell Just About Anything to Just About Anybody” (search on YouTube.com for “Cliff Ennico How to Sell”).

Presenter: Cliff Ennico
